Celeriac is a vegetable grown for its edible roots, which have a nutty taste similar to celery. It’s high in vitamins C and K, as well as minerals like calcium and magnesium, and is perhaps most popular in mashed form. Our Brilliant variety is a popular choice, which is also known as Turnip-rooted celery. It’s an early variety which is best grown for processing. It’s suitable for long-term storage, and has brilliant white flesh which doesn’t discolour. The Rowena variety is suitable for the processing industry too, but also for the fresh market and storage. It’s a great maincrop variety, with a good tolerance to bolting. Both of our celeriac varieties have smooth, round roots, with a great taste.
