Chinese Cabbage

A common staple of Chinese cuisine, Chinese cabbage also makes a great substitute for traditional cabbage. We have a great selection available. Not only is it versatile and an interesting alternative to more traditional vegetables, Chinese cabbage is full of health benefits too: high in potassium and calcium and low in sodium, it’s an incredibly healthy vegetable. We offer the Manoko F1, which can be harvested 50 days after planting. It’s got great resistance to bolting and Fusarium, which is a common disease affecting Chinese cabbages. We also provide the organic Bilko F1 variety. Similarly slow to bolt and with good resistance to Fusarium and club root, it has large heads which deliver a sweet flavour.
