The AHDB Variety Open Days are an ideal opportunity for growers to talk to AHDB specialists about the suitability of cereal and oilseed varieties in their locality and discuss with them their variety selection requirements both now and in the future. The Open Days include tours of on-farm trials, giving visitors the chance to see which varieties have performed well, along with being able to assess the various characteristics of different varieties, evaluating each against their requirements.
Now in their third year, there are four field-based open days in June and July 2016 and they are run each year as part of the ADHB's continuing commitment to provide guided access to our evidence-based crop trials. This year the trials are being held in Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Cornwall and Shropshire, with the Lincolnshire event being held at Elsoms Wheat Ltd in Spalding, Lincolnshire.
As the host trials site, Elsoms Wheat Ltd would be delighted if you are able to attend the above HGCA event.
