Cauliflower

Cauliflowers are related to cabbages and broccoli. Although some varieties are bred to produce a coloured curd (orange, purple and green), most are selected to produce a white curd. The curd of the green cauliflower can either be a normal shape or a fractal spiky shape (romanesco type). It has a good nutritional value as it is high in Vitamin C and some compounds in cauliflowers are also thought to have anti-cancer properties.
