Roots
Elsoms have a superb range of root crops, bred by Bejo Zaden, leaders in biennial crop breeding and seed production, and in the case of parsnips and swede, by ourselves. We are looking at a wide range of new carrot varieties, and are selecting new parsnip varieties based on information from our disease tunnels at Spalding. We carry out a large number of root crop trials each year. Customers can view these at our open days, or privately by appointment. Please contact Head Office for more infromation.
