Oilseed Rape

In 2009 Elsoms, Lantmannen from Sweden and Florimond Desprez from France joined forces to produce a combined Oilseed Rape Breeding programme. With the process of Oilseed Rape breeding becoming increasingly complex the joint programme was formed to provide the technical and financial resources to develop successful varieties from farmers in the UK and mainland Europe. An impressive array of commercial and hybrid varieties’ will become commercial available to farmers over the next few years.
