Wheat

Elsoms have a wheat breeding programme concetrating on feed and biscuit quality varieties.
Recent successes have been with the introduction of Welford and Brompton which were the first varieties with wheat orange blossom midge resistance.
Elsoms represent several European breeders and have had particular success with Soissons - the very well established wheat from Florimond Desprez in Northern France.
