Triticale
Triticale is a wheat rye cross, giving relatively high yields from power soil types. The grain is high in lysine and a very good feed for pigs. It is widely used in arable silage mixtures.
The varieties Trilogie, Tribeca and Trimour have been bred by Florimond Desprez in Northern France and have been widely grown in the UK.
Desprez have bred a string of major varieties over many years and continue to improve yield and agronomic characteristics with new varieties.
Both winter and spring varieties are available.
