Seed Treatments

Elsoms have been at the forefront of seed treatments for a number of years. The majority of seed that we sell is treated on site, often at customer's requests. Early control of seedling diseases and insect pests is vital for successful crop production, and seed technology plays a significant role in obtaining the best start for your crops.

To help us remain at the forefront of seed technology, Elsoms has recently extended their facilities and can now offer pelleting on a contract basis following the agreement with INCOTEC International B.V., Enkhuizen, The Netherlands for a license to use their methods and material for the micro pilling (encrusting) and pelleting of seeds.

We can treat large or small quantities of seed for our customers and aim to provide a quick and efficient service. We have experience with many crop species, particularly Brassica, Alliums, Beetroot, Spinach, Carrots, Parsnips and many more.
